Tiles

A plugboard for the crew you're watching.

The Tiles grid is the default view — a dark, Plugboard-styled surface you drag roles onto and arrange however your show actually runs, not however the base station's own role list happens to be sorted. Positions are yours; nothing about the layout is dictated by the Arcadia.

Drag-to-reposition

Every tile sits where you put it. Rearrange the grid as crew changes through the day — the layout is a canvas, not a fixed roster.

Per-tile battery

Each connected beltpack's live battery level shows right on its tile — an offline or unpaired pack reads back empty rather than a stale number.

Master volume badge

The role's own configured master volume shows as a badge on the tile — the same setting you'd otherwise dig for in Roles.

Remote Mic Kill

Kill a beltpack's mic from its tile in one click — even one that's currently unpaired, which the base station accepts as a graceful no-op rather than an error.

Eight-color accent palette

Give a tile its own color from a fixed palette so the grid stays visually consistent and scannable at a glance across a full crew.

Assign a beltpack

The Arcadia doesn't reliably report which physical pack belongs to which role, so right-click → Assign Beltpack makes the link explicit, once, per tile.

Mirror

Drop into anyone's exact setup. Leave no trace when you're done.

The Mirror tile is a cue: arm it, click a role tile, and that operator's own beltpack is temporarily overwritten with the target role's entire configuration — routing, volumes, alerts, display, the lot. It stays live-tracked while armed, and stopping it restores the operator's exact pre-mirror state, not an approximation of it.

Two independent steps

Selecting a mirror target happens on the role tile itself; arming and stopping happen on the Mirror tile. They're deliberately separate controls, not one picker, so you can line up who you're about to mirror before committing.

  • Live-tracked while armed. The mirrored role's config keeps applying as it's edited elsewhere — it isn't a one-time copy.
  • Exact restoration on stop. The operator's own pre-mirror document comes back byte for byte, not a best guess at what it was.
  • Hardware-position fields are never touched. Which physical key is the Reply key, a Program key, or a stacked key stays the operator's own — mirroring never overwrites facts about the pack itself.
  • Cross-type mirroring is allowlisted. Mirroring between two different pack types only ever moves routing and activation state; volume-range fields that don't share a schema across types are left alone.
Talk-key behavior — which button is Call, which is the secondary talk action, and how the talk button itself behaves — deliberately never follows the mirror. An operator's own hands stay wired the way they expect; only the role's routing and settings change underneath them.

Roles & presets

Every button, every setting — editable, not just visible.

The role list is where a role's actual configuration lives: which connection each keyset button talks to, and everything else the base station tracks about that role's audio, alerts, display and behavior.

Keyset editor

Every button on a role's pack, with its own connection assignment and activation state — the full keyset, not a subset.

Full settings panel

Audio, alerts, display and behavior settings per role, plus per-button fields beyond the connection — sidetone, alarm modes, brightness, talk-button mode and more.

Quantized gain fields

Volume and gain settings snap to the base station's own discrete steps — no slider ever proposes a value the hardware would reject.

Create & delete presets

A preset is just a roleset not bound to anyone yet — spin one up, shape its settings, and it's ready to apply.

Apply a preset

Push a preset's whole settings block onto a real person's role in one action — the same mechanism Mirror uses, applied permanently instead of temporarily.

Save the current setup as a preset

Capture a role's live configuration back into a new preset — the reverse direction, for turning a good day's setup into tomorrow's starting point.

Matrix & Connections

Every role, every button, one screen.

Matrix lays every role's buttons out as rows against connection columns — directly editable, so a wholesale routing change doesn't mean opening role after role one at a time.

GPIO force/release

Force a GPO on or off, overriding its trigger logic, or release it back to automatic control — the same force mechanism the base station's own Logic-page test buttons use.

A readable audit trail of what changed and when — password changes, login attempts, GPO updates, sync-source changes — pulled straight from the base station's own event log.

Bonjour discovery

The Arcadia advertises itself on the local network; ComLogix finds it automatically instead of asking anyone to type in an IP address.

Keychain-backed connections

Recent connections and their credentials live in the macOS Keychain — never in UserDefaults or plaintext on disk.

Built on a fully reverse-engineered Arcadia API.

There's no vendor SDK for the Arcadia's web control surface — every endpoint in ComLogix came from decompiling the base station's own Angular app and probing a live unit. Native macOS, SwiftUI, zero third-party dependencies.
